Biography

I am a 1971 graduate of Edinburgh High School, a 1975 graduate of Franklin College, and I graduated from Purdue with an MS in 1984. My passion has always been science and technology. I love computers, of course. But more than that, I have always held a great interest in the physical sciences. Although my degree is in biology, the physical sciences are actually more fascinating to me.

Our Beliefs

We are are open-minded about religion. Visit my Christian Page. I was raised Christian, but we are all free thinkers and do not believe everything that the bible tells us.
My Job:
I am 7th grade science teacher for the Indianapolis Public Schools. I have been a newspaper editor and columnist, and I also taught high school physics and biology for 13 years before moving to Indianapolis.
As editor, I wrote a weekly column called Over Coffee. Although sometimes I used it to express a serious opinion, most often it was a light-hearted home-spun anecdote of life in Edinburgh, Indiana. I still write the column for Edinburgh's weekly newspaper, the Edinburgh Courier.

The Class of '71 was the last class to attend all 12 grades in this school building. It was torn down in the 1980's.
