When is Bittersweet Chocolate Day?
On the off chance that you haven’t gotten enough chocolate yet over the past couple of months, this is a holiday that you can use as an excuse to satiate your sweet tooth. Bittersweet chocolate day is celebrated every year on January the 10th, and can easily be celebrated every single day of the year. I mean, who doesn’t love chocolate?
There is no evidence that I can find for who created the holiday. However, who needs to know that information when you have an excuse to indulge?
How do you celebrate Bittersweet Chocolate Day?
Most people prefer milk chocolate and white chocolate as opposed to bittersweet, but this chocolate is still a great choice. If you have ever consumed a chocolate chip cookie, then you most likely have consumed bittersweet chocolate. And since most people prefer this type of cookie above all others, it shows that the sweeter version of dark chocolate is great tasting.
So in order to celebrate this holiday, why don’t you bake some double chocolate fudge cookies, and send a batch or two my way while you are at it? Or, you can make some muffins, and add some bittersweet chocolate chips to them? Whatever you make, you know that it is going to taste amazing!
Chocolate actually has a ton of health benefits. This is especially true the darker the chocolate is. Since Bittersweet chocolate is a dark chocolate, you are bound to get some health benefits just by adding some to your foods, so time to drench everything is chocolatey goodness!
