When is National Popcorn Day?
National Popcorn Month is located in November, but that does not mean that you cannot celebrate with popcorn a bit earlier than usual. That is where National Popcorn Day comes into play. This day is celebrated on January the 19th, and is made to celebrate the consumption of popcorn. We do not yet know when this day was created, who created it, or really why it was created in the first place, but there is no reason to think too hard about a day that allows you to eat more snacks.
How do you celebrate National Popcorn Day?
The best way to celebrate this day would be to pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave and sit down with friends and family to watch one of your favorite shows. Or you can sit down and watch a new movie that came out on Netflix.
Another thing that you can do is to pop some popcorn in order to bring with you as a snack when you go to work. Since Popcorn is a whole grain, it makes for a tasty snack to add to a lunchbox. There are so many things that you can do with popcorn, from making necklaces to making something to eat, the possibilities are endless!
Popcorn is actually a healthy snack! Not only is it a whole grain, but it also has very few calories per cup… well, until you put all of that butter on it. But then again, without the butter, it wouldn’t be as tasty!
