Second day of Hanukkah

On the second day of Hanukkah, called Zot Hanukkah, a passage from Numbers is read at religious services concerning the dedication of the temple’s altar. Certain traditions see this last day as a seal o the High Holiday season, giving blessings to other observers along the lines of this sealing. The day is also associated with repentance and prayer fulfillment.
