A Christmas Story is a tradition in our family. It is an annual holiday must-see classic film, written by Jean Shepherd. Because of its humor, warmth, and classic holiday flavor, I consider it one of the all-time best Christmas movies.

For that reason, I have put together what I consider the top-ten sound clips from the film. It was tough narrowing it down to only 10. In fact, I threw in an un-ranked bonus clip. Enjoy...

  • #10 "You used up all the glue on purpose." (54K)

  • #9 "Electric sex gleeming in the window..." (65K)

  • #8 "Deliver a bowling alley..." (109K)

  • #7 "You'll shoot your eye out..." (97K)

  • #6 "Spare tires..." (77K)

  • #5 "Meatloaf..." (152K)

  • #4 "That is the ugliest lamp..." (60K)

  • #3 "Icicles have been known to kill..." (46K)
