This highly rated riverside side resort is no joke. Located along the Chao Phraya, Anantara offers countless amenities as well as stunning views! To no surprise, our third Bangkok resort is also along the Chao Prayer river! Can you tell where the best spots are at yet in this city? The most exciting aspect of this resort would be the rooftop pool. With the height of the hotel, this infinity pool allows for an entire view of the Bangkok skyline as far as the eye can see! You may recognize the brand name, Anantara, listed again here. And to no surprise, the top Phuket resorts below will also feature one of these locations as well! This resort is located within the center of Chiang Mai along the Mae Ping River. This ancient city is filled with temples and endless history, and Anantara continues to encourage its guests to take advantage of these unique opportunities to learn more. Not only do they offer tours of Chiang Mai, but they even have cooking classes you can attend or even courses where you learn how to do Thai boxing!
This stunning resort is located just one block away from Anantara, but looks like an entirely new world on the inside. That’s right, it’s another Shangri-La location! This resort is also located within the heart of the city of Chiang Mai, but unlike our previous resorts here, this one is much more family focused. This hotel is full of great dining options as well as a large pool for all to enjoy. There is even a waterslide! For parents, do not worry, as there is still an on-site spa for you to enjoy as well.
Along the west coast side of Phuket, this resort can be found. There is plenty to do, including an oceanside infinity pool to enjoy. This location includes a spa and even a scuba diving centre (for both beginner and expert divers)! This couple-resort also features the ‘Clubhouse,’ which is a private feature that revolves around catering to just you. It includes exercise, followed by catered food as well as spending the remainder of your time relaxing poolside.
We could not exclude this resort on our list, are you seeing a pattern here? This location is located near the northern most point of Phuket, a short drive from the airport. The villas that you stay in are located along a lagoon with your own private pool. There are countless classes available as well, including Tai Chi, Pilates and cooking. This accommodation is perfect for relaxing in pure paradise.
Sri Panwa PhuketUnlike the previous location, this one is located near the very south end of the region. However, similar to Anantara Mai Khao Phuket, this is another villa resort. Sri Panwa practically stands by itself at the end of a cape and is a truly breathtaking sight.
