Cruises From Long Beach

Are you planning on cruising out of Long Beach? Not only are there plenty of activities to do in Long Beach, it is also a popular port with many cruise brands.

Some activities you may want to consider are taking a stroll over the El Dorado Regional Park. This park offers plenty of activities the whole family can enjoy such as fishing, hiking, and picnicking in the beautiful landscape while connecting with nature.

You can find plenty of museums in the Long Beach and Los Angeles area.  The Museum of Latin American Art is one of the many museums you and your family can appreciate. You can find a collection of artworks, exhibits and activities that will give you a look into the Latin culture.

If museums are not your pace and you desire more adventure and entertainment, Disneyland and California Adventure parks are only  a 30 minute drive from Long Beach depending on the time of day.  Both parks offer plenty of food options and fun entertainment. There is something for the whole family.

Another popular activity located in Long Beach is the Long Beach Aquarium. The aquarium features plenty of exhibits, sea life and hands on experience with some of the sea creatures. Some of the more popular exhibits include corral reefs, jellyfish, the Sea Otter habitat and many more.

Some of these include Water Works water park, Family Feud live, Comedy Club, and drive -in style movies by the pool.

Royal Caribbean offers amenities and activities you won’t find on other cruise lines such as French bistro-style dining from a 3 star Michelin chef. Camp Discovery for ages 3-17, where kids can immerse themselves in explorative activities and teens can kick back and relax.

The amount of cruising options are plenty. Doing your research  of each cruise line is important and helpful in determining which one meets your needs. There are options for everyone such as families and folks who may be retired and prefer tranquil more laid back surroundings. Long Beach and Los Angeles may not be what you are looking for when searching for itineraries.
