We can only imagine just how breathtaking the vast majority of the universe is. Being all of time and space, it is a remarkable wonder with the questionable phenomenon of creation and destruction. We have studied the universe for years to date to better understand who we are and the origins of life. Our discoveries have brought new curiosities as we learned just how phenomenal the universe is and how many secrets that exist. With our growing curiosities, we developed advanced scientific instruments that exposed some of the most amazing occurrences. As a result of consistent research in cosmology and astrophysics, we have been able to capture some of the most impressive and stunning views of what the Universe beholds.
We have discovered the existence of black holes, nebulae, quasars, pulsars, and most importantly galaxies.

According to some scientists, the universe could contain nearly one hundred billion galaxies. Each with vast collections of gas, dust, and countless stars and their solar systems. Galaxies are extraordinary. They are held together by gravity, and like the Milky Way Galaxy (our galaxy) they have a supermassive black hole in the center. Every galaxy is classified by its shape. The Milky Way Galaxy has a spiral shape and others may have an elliptical shape, but when a galaxy doesn’t have a defined shape it is called an Irregular galaxy.
It’s quite simple…An Irregular galaxy is a galaxy that doesn’t have a shape to which conforms to one of the designed categories created to classify galaxies. These galaxies not only lack a shape but they also have no structure and most likely formed due to collisions or came near other galaxies or other violent activity.
Irregular galaxies contain old and young stars and hold large amounts of gas. With a mass amount of star formations that would make the galaxies extremely bright. Irregular galaxies are often smaller than spiral and elliptical galaxies. When observing galaxies you will notice Magellanic clouds or (nubeculae Magellani) which are two dwarf irregular galaxies.
There are so many examples of irregular galaxies that are waiting to be discovered along with a multitude of upcoming discoveries humanity will continue to research and ultimately explore.
